WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin repairing the concrete on the I-44 near Old Iowa Park Road on-ramp, beginning on Tuesday, May 13.

During this time, the 2 right lanes will be closed, with an expected reopen date on Thursday, May 15.

TxDOT said crews will be cutting out sections of buckled concrete and pouring new slabs for the repair work.

TxDOT stated that concrete repairs of this nature depend on clear weather, so rain may postpone any reopenings.
