The UConn Huskies have been dominant throughout the NCAA Tournament, led by guard Paige Bueckers , who's posted historic numbers.

UConn entered a matchup against Oklahoma in the Sweet 16 having defeated San Diego State 91-57 in the round of 32 and Arkansas State 103-34 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

During their game against the Sooners, Bueckers cemented her name in the Huskies ' history books.

According to Alex Philippou , Bueckers has become the first player in UConn women's basketball history with three career 30-point NCAA Tournament games. She's also the only player to have back-to-back 30-point games and multiple 30-point games in a single March Madness run.

Bueckers finished an 82-59 win over Oklahoma with 40 points, six rebounds and one assist.

So far this season Bueckers has averaged 19.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, leading the Huskies in average points.

She's proven to be one of the best players in March Madness, having posted 34 points in the teams win over San Diego State and 11 points in the first round.

Bueckers and the Huskies will now be moving on to the Elite Eight, where they will play the winner of USC versus Kansas State on March 31 at 9 p.m. ET.
