PADUCAH — At approximately 1:45 p.m. KYTC announced that the crash had been cleared and all lanes are open.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1, both lanes of I-24 westbound are blocked near mile marker 31 due to a crash near the Tennessee River Bridge work zone.

KYTC states that i nitial reports indicate a collision involving a semi and a passenger vehicle.

According to KYTC, t raffic is being rerouted off Grand Rivers Exit 31, to KY 453 South to U.S. 62 West to return to I-24 at Calvert City Exit 27. The estimated duration of this blockage is "around four hours."
