Utah played its inaugural NHL season in 2024-25 following the relocation of the Arizona Coyotes. The SEG also noted that the outline of Utah is featured in the mountain silhouette, and that the mammoth's tusks form the letter "U." The home jerseys feature a badge on the shoulder, with a slight variation on the diagonal "UTAH" logo from the team's inaugural season inside the state silhouette with a hockey stick. The mammoth head is visible as a secondary mark on the club's away jersey, which uses the diagonal "UTAH" as its primary design. said he expected it to be the nickname in the future. KSL.com's
