BATON ROUGE, La. — A vehicle fire was reported on I-10 Westbound near LA-975 MM (129) on Thursday evening, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

According to the map, the incident happened at 4:15 p.m. on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.

All lanes were blocked. Traffic was diverted to LA 415 to US 190 as an alternate route, Louisiana State Police said.

"Emergency crews are working to clear the roadway as quickly and safely as possible," LSP said in a statement.
