The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association announced the extension of Virginia Beach Restaurant Week and Dine & Stay hotel deals because of inclement weather.

The event was originally scheduled to end on Sunday; the event now runs through Feb. 2, according to a news release.

This gives people more time to visit their favorite restaurants or experience a new one.

Visit the association’s website on Monday for an updated list of restaurants participating in the extended week.

Restaurant Week is an event where businesses offer special menu pricing on items such as entrees, desserts and drinks. Reservations are encouraged.
