Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre's heartbroken father has revealed the pair had become estranged from each other and revealed he didn't ask her for money despite his woes
Virginia Giuffre’s heartbroken dad has revealed he hadn't spoken to his daughter in years before her death. Sky Roberts gave a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan as he opened up on her death for the first time. She died
at her home in Neergabby, Western Australia, on April 25 with her family confirming she had taken her own life after enduring a
"lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking". Her battle with
Prince Andrew reached a global audience in 2021 when she filed a lawsuit against him for sexual abuse, alleging that she was forced to have sex with the duke at age 17, having been trafficked by the now-deceased billionaire
Jeffrey Epstein . Prince Andrew has vehemently denied the allegations and has not faced any criminal charges. In February 2022, the case was settled out of court. Andrew did not admit any wrongdoing but agreed to
pay her a reported sum of £12 million, including a donation to her charity for victims of abuse. Opening up on their relationship as father and daughter, Sky said he hadn't spoken to Virginia in years. Piers asked how much contact they had with each other, as he said: "Not a lot. I hadn't spoke to her in years." He added: "Basically, she tried to protect me. She knew a lot of things about a lot of powerful people. To me, she is just protecting me that I don't get involved in any of it. When she was here, we were together all the time. She was on her own to go against Epstein, Maxell and Andrew. "She was alone that whole time. I am not saying it was a way to earn money, but she was trying to make them pay for what they did." Addressing the amount of money Virginia was allegedly paid, Sky said he didn't get any money from his daughter. He told Piers: "I never asked for any help from her. I am happy the way I am. I don't have a lot of money, I am on social security but I am happy." In their
heartfelt statement following her death, Virginia's family described her as a "fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking". Sharing how he reacted when he heard the news of her death, Sky said: “Well, first of all, I couldn't even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away. I'm still crying. I can't believe that this is happening. It just, it's impossible. “And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there's no way that she did. Somebody got to her.” "I think she's strong, very strong, and that's why I don't think she committed suicide. She had too much to live for. She had her foundation.” During the interview,
Sky also hit out at Prince Andrew. He said: "I don't care for him at all. He is a powerful royal figure who thinks he can do what he wants to do."
