Virginia snatched a spot on Golf Digest's 2017-18 list of top 100 golf courses. Thirty-one states were represented on the list, with New York and California courses combining to make up a whopping 25 percent! So which club made the list from our great state? Built in 2001, Kinloch Golf Club has consistently ranked in Golf Digest's list of top 100 courses in the nation since 2005. Played by invitation only, the course was very carefully designed to ensure that the turf gets enough air and sunlight for the best playing conditions in the normally hot and humid region. The club boasts "the best of southern hospitality."
