A teenage driver has been charged with murder in Virginia after admitting to gunning down a man he said jumped out and started kicking his Tesla, according to court documents. Kianmehr Shirinipaziziba, 18, told police he shot 39-year-old Jason Hann for threatening him and attacking his Tesla near a shopping center in Herndon on Friday night, according to court documents seen by NBC Washington . Cops were first called to reports about a “disorderly male suspect” at around 9:40 p.m., Herndon Police Department wrote on Facebook . “Shortly thereafter, Herndon PD received a call from Shirinipaziziba claiming that he had shot the subject,” the statement continued. Hann was rushed to a local hospital but could not be saved. Shirinipaziziba was taken into custody without incident, police said. Shirinipaziziba later told police that Hann jumped out in front of his Tesla, “kicked the mirror and appeared to reach to his waistband,” according to the arrest affidavit. The teenager then pulled out a Glock 27 9mm handgun, chambered a round and fired a single shot, hitting Hann, the court docs said. The shooter remained at the scene until cops arrived. The dead man did not have a gun on him, a Herndon police spokesperson told The Post. Shirinipaziziba, from McClean, was charged with second-degree murder and is being held at the Fairfax County Detention Center without bond, police said.
