Here are The Arizona Republic's picks for the top 10 high school boys basketball players for the week of Feb. 10-15. This is a combination of regular season and playoff games. Coaches provided input. 1. Terrance Byrd, Surprise Highland Prep, Fr.

The 6-foot-6 forward had 46 points, making 19 of 30 shots, including 7 of 10 free throws, and pulling down 12 rebounds in a 66-65 2A play-in loss at Thatcher.

2. Colby Jessup, Chandler Valley Christian, Jr.

The 6-foot-3 guard led the Trojans with 20 points, making three 3-pointers, in an 82-48 rout of North Valley Christian Academy in the Copper Division state quarterfinals. He had 34 points, making 8 of 13 3-pointers, in a first-round rout of Coolidge.

3. JT Amundsen, Goodyear Millennium, Sr.

The guard had 17 points in a rout of Tempe Corona del Sol and 19 points in a win over Brophy Prep. He has scored 24, 17, 17 and 19 points in his last four games.

4. I'yar Shadowvine, Glendale Ironwood, Sr.

In a 59-56 win over Willow Canyon, he had 15 points, including a 3-pointer with six minutes left that gave the Eagles a 50-49 lead. His ballhandling and defense helped ignite a big run in the final 12 minutes.

5. Daniel Ortiz, Tucson Palo Verde, Sr.

The guard hit a 3-pointer as the final buzzer sounded giving his No. 14-seeded team a 57-55 upset of No. 3-seed Phoenix Country Day in the first round of the Copper Division state tournament.

6. Mason Kendrick, Phoenix Arcadia, Jr.

The guard had 27 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in the Titans' 79-69 win over Tempe Marcos de Niza, as they finished the regular season on a three-game winning streak.

7. Jace Olson, Gilbert Christian, Sr.

The 6-5 guard had 23 points against Parker in the first round of the Copper State Tournament and followed that with 21 points in a quarterfinal win over Scottsdale Rancho Solano Prep.

8. Lamar Anderson, El Mirage Dysart, Sr.

He had 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in a 73-54 win over Phoenix Cortez to clinch a third 4A region title in a row for the Demons and earn them an Open spot as the No. 32 seed to play No. 1 Gilbert Perry in the first round.

9. Bruce Branch III, Perry, So.

The 6-7 guard had 23 points and seven rebounds in the Pumas' 73-27 rout of Chandler in the final regular-season game.

10. Andrew Bhesania, Anthem Boulder Creek, Sr.

The 6-8 forward had 20 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots in a 65-59 win over Peoria Liberty that avenged a loss to the Lions on Jan. 28.
