LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Greenbrier County Sheriff Bart Baker reports the caputre of a wanted man who was considered armed and dangerous. Deputies arrested Jason Durward Roberts, 52, of Renick W.Va. in the early morning hours of Saturday morning. Roberts had been sought for a few days on a number of outstanding warrants. Deputies advised he was potentially armed and dangerous. He was discovered sleeping in a hammock outside a home in the Neola community with a female companion when he was arrested. Deputies say Roberts was fully cooperative and offered no resistance, but he was armed with a handgun when taken into custody. He was arraigned on a variety of charges and remains in the Southern Regional Jail.
