Rain will end over south central and southeast Kansas this evening. Most of the night will be dry as low temperatures fall into the 50s.

Isolated showers and storms will be possible Sunday morning over central and eastern Kansas, otherwise look for decreasing clouds throughout the day.

South winds will be gusty across the entire state with gusts between 30 and 40 miles per hour. The strongest winds are expected over western Kansas.

It will be much warmer on Sunday as sunshine returns during the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 70s to near 80 degrees.

There will be another slight chance of a stray storm or two Sunday evening over western Kansas. If a storm manages to develop, it could be severe. However, the chance of a storm forming is quite low.

An isolated storm or two may form again Monday evening over central and eastern Kansas. If a storm forms, it could be severe, but as of now, widespread storm activity appears unlikely.

A cold front will move through the state Monday night, bringing a return to cooler temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday. More storms will be possible during this time, but the threat of severe weather will remain low.
