"No, not the bees! Not the bees!"

The Rockies-Padres' game had quite the crowd during their game on Thursday March 30, including some unexpected visitors that dropped by to see some of the action. A large swarm of honey bees made their presence known during the top of the ninth inning. "This is reminiscent of Petco Park a few years ago," said Rockies manager Bud Black in an interview after the game. "Remember when the beekeeper had to come down to the left-field corner? That was about 20 or 30 minutes (of delay)." Players were forced to hit the ground as they took cover from the little buggers.
