Kansas State's basketball team finishes a two-game road swing on Wednesday night with an 8 p.m. game against Baylor at Foster Pavilion in Waco, Texas. The Wildcats (7-10, 1-5 Big 12) have dropped five straight games, the longest losing streak in three seasons under coach Jerome Tang, and have lost 14 in a row on the road dating back to last January. Baylor (11-6, 3-3) lost back-to-back games last week at Arizona (81-70) and at home against TCU (74-71). Fifth-year forward Norchad Omier, a transfer from Miami, leads Baylor in scoring with 15.8 points per game and in rebounding with a 9.9 average. The Bears also get 12.8 points from freshman guard VJ Edgecombe, 12.1 points with 4.8 assists from Robert Wright, and 10.5 points from Jayden Nunn. David N'Guessan leads K-State with 12.6 points and 7.2 rebounds, while Brendan Hausen averages 11.9 and Coleman Hawkins 10.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
