The Big Ten women's basketball tournament runs Wednesday through Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

USC earned the No. 1 seed by winning the regular-season conference championship. UCLA, Ohio State and Maryland also earned double-byes and do not have to play until Friday. A champion will be crowned Sunday, and that team earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which begins March 19 with First Four action.

Fifteen of the conference's 18 teams earned spots in the event. Purdue , Northwestern and Penn State trailed the conference standings and will not participate.
