One week after the Huskies were crowned the NCAA Women’s March Madness winners, some of the tournament’s top talent are ready to take the next step to the pros. The 2025 WNBA Draft will take place Monday evening at The Shed in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards. WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert will announce the picks throughout the night. UConn guard Paige Bueckers is widely projected to be the No. 1 pick for the Dallas Wings after leading the Huskies to their 12th national championship last week, marking the team’s first since 2016. According to CNN , the Minnesota native averaged 24.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. In addition to Bueckers, other standout prospects to watch tonight include French phenom Dominique Malonga, USC’s Kiki Iriafen, LSU’s Aneesah Morrow, Notre Dame’s Sonia Citron, and TCU’s Hailey Van Lith. Ryan Ruocco will host the WNBA Draft broadcast alongside analysts Rebecca Lobo and Andraya Carter, with Holly Rowe reporting from the floor.
