After dropping their NCAA Tournament opener to Michigan 4-3 in the Austin Regional , the Knights (33-23-1) sit one loss away from elimination. They will take on Eastern Illinois at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Red & Charline McCombs Field. If they lose, their season is over. If they win, they advance to a 6 p.m. contest against the loser of the day's first matchup between Texas and the Wolverines .

And if they capture both games, they'll appear in Sunday's finals.

Eastern Illinois (34-21) dropped its Friday showdown with Texas, too. Final score: 10-2. UCF has never faced the Panthers, the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference champions.
