Topeka's first Whataburger location will open its doors on June 16.

Jay Battle, KMO chief operating officer, said the company has been looking forward to opening its southwest Topeka location while serving guests bold and fresh flavors.

“We want people to see this Whataburger as their own and find their go-to menu item. Whether it’s from the breakfast menu that is served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. daily, or our regular menu available 24/7,” said Battle.

When will Topeka's new Whataburger open?

The Whataburger located at 3251 SW Topeka Blvd. will open at 11 a.m. June 16, the company said in a news release. The restaurant is KMO Burger’s 28th Whataburger. The franchisee has more than 1,000 employees in the region.

The first guests in each drive-through line and the first guest in the dining room will receive free Whataburgers for a year, said the release.

It will open with a dining room and double drive-through service. In coming days, it will add curbside pickup and delivery for orders placed through Whataburger.com and the Whataburger app.
