MICHIGAN, USA — Not every household can splurge on a holiday feast. That's why 13 ON YOUR SIDE did some digging to bring you a list of local organizations working to make Thanksgiving dinner special for everyone in their community.

Mill Creek Tavern - Comstock Park, MI



The West Michigan restaurant announced Tuesday it will be giving away 30 fresh Thanksgiving meals this holiday season. They posted on Facebook that they’ll serve anyone who needs them “no questions asked.”

God’s Kitchen of Michigan - Battle Creek, MI & Kalamazoo, MI



From roasted turkey and green beans to sweet corn, God’s Kitchen of Michigan is giving away hot plates filled with all the Thanksgiving classics. The organization has multiple locations where dinner will be served to the community either on Nov. 20 or 21.

Dinner Time: Nov. 20 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Guiding Light - Grand Rapids, MI



The Grand Rapids nonprofit is hosting its annual Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 23. The meal is based in the Heartside neighborhood, but is open to everyone. No reservation is required.

“We are incredibly grateful for the many blessings we've experienced this year, including the ability to once again provide this meal for our community,” Brian Elve, Executive Director of Guiding Light told 13 ON YOUR SIDE.

Ellnora's Kitchen - Grand Rapids, MI



Ellnora’s Kitchen will be giving out free to-go meals ahead of Thanksgiving. The restaurant has kept up this tradition since 2010 .

Friends and family can pick up their hot plate on Nov. 25 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Urban Family Ministries Building.

Thanksgiving Community Dinner - Grand Rapids, MI



Life Center Church and Restoring Faith Ministries are partnering on Tuesday to host another Thanksgiving Community dinner.

Organizers invite the community to join them at the Renaissance Cogic Family Life Center on Nov. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Registration is required.

Corine’s Cakes and Catering - Muskegon Heights, MI



Friends and families can pick up their free dinner at this Muskegon Heights restaurant from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

The restaurant is offering rides to those in need and deliveries to homebound individuals.

Lifeline Thanksgiving Dinner - Wyoming, MI



Lifeline Community Church is inviting the Roger’s Lane neighborhood to feast with them on Thanksgiving Day around noon.

They're also inviting visitors to bring in their own dishes to give away.

If interested, they ask neighbors to message them .

Mel Trotter Ministries - Grand Rapids, MI



Mel Trotter Ministries is preparing free traditional meals for individuals and families experiencing homelessness this Thanksgiving Day at DeVos Place.

There is also room around their dinner table for people looking to enjoy the company of their neighbors. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the meal starts at 11 a.m.

Big Rapids Eagles - Big Rapids, MI



This free community dinner is a joint effort between Our Brother’s Keeper, Project Starburst, Manna Pantry, Angels of Action and Connect Church.

It will begin at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will continue until 4 p.m. or while supplies last.

Love in Action and Lake Effect Kitchen - Grand Haven, MI



Starting at noon on Thanksgiving Day, a holiday feast will be hosted at St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish Church in Grand Haven.

For the third year in a row, the community Thanksgiving meal is being organized by Love in Action of the Tri-Cities and Lake Effect Kitchen .
