The Kansas City Current looks to get back on the winning track when they host Bay FC in National Women’s Soccer League action on Sunday.

The Current burst out of the gates in 2025, establishing themselves as one of the best clubs in the NWSL with wins in their first five matches of the season. However, Kansas City has stumbled over the last couple of weeks on the road, falling to the North Carolina Courage two weeks ago before getting clean-sheeted by the Seattle Reign last Friday.

KC hopes to use the home field to its advantage and end the team’s...current slide, as the team has won all three of its home contests so far this season.

NWSL STREAMING OPTIONS

Bay FC also had a solid start to the season, though not quite as glowing as the Current. The team picked up points in its first two matches, beating Racing Louisville in Bay’s home opener on March 22. However, the team has played some bumpy soccer since then. They dropped consecutive matches to the Washington Spirit and Chicago Stars, and have gone 1-1-1 in their last three contests.
