Florida basketball will say goodbye to its seniors and try to finish the regular season on a high note when it hosts Ole Miss on Saturday in its home and regular-season finale. The No. 5 Florida Gators (26-4, 13-4 SEC) will honor walk-on guard Bennett Andersen and starting guards Walter Clayton, Will Richard and Alijah Martin in pregame Senior Day ceremonies before taking on the Rebels. "All three of our perimeter players have all impacted our program in a huge way, in different ways, and have all been very responsible for the success we've had this year," Florida basketball coach Todd Golden said. "So they deserve it. I'm excited for them that we get to celebrate them." Florida will look to avenge a 103-85 loss at Ole Miss last season. Overall, Florida leads the all-time series against Ole Miss 70-49 and is 43-12 all-time against the Rebels at home. UF is coming off a 99-95 win at No. 8 Alabama that moved the Gators back on the projected No. 1 seed line for the NCAA Tournament a week before Selection Sunday. Ole Miss (21-19, 10-7), under second-year coach Chris Beard, is coming off a 78-76 win over No. 4 Tennessee on Wednesday.
