Soon WhiskyFest will be making its D.C. stop! The event will feature and offer samples of the best whiskies from all over the world.

For the third year in a row, one of the continent's largest whisky festivals returns to D.C. at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on April 17. Put on by Whisky Advocate magazine, WhiskyFest has been visiting cities for more than 20 years and provides attendees the chance to sample more than 350 different types and brands of whiskies! This event is one that no whisky drinker should pass up -- In addition to sampling, guests are also given the opportunity to meet and learn from whisky experts, distillers, and master blenders.
Tickets to WhiskyFest are now available online and will not be sold at the door. For $275, visitors get access to all seminars, the grand tasting, a keepsake Glencairn crystal nosing glass, gift bag, event booklet, a free pen, and delicious buffet. VIP Tickets, which grant early entry to tastings and meet-and-greets, are available for $345.  Those who order early-bird tickets will also receive a one-year subscription to Whisky Advocate Magazine! While everyone will be eager to try the dozens of blended Irish, Scottish, Japanese, Tennessee, Canadian, bourbon and craft-distilled whiskies, WhiskyFest is intended to be an educational event in which distillers explain how their whiskies are made and the history of their brand and blends. However, tastings will take place within the seminars, and free entry into each seminar is included with general admission.
