The NFL Honors postseason awards will honor the best of the best from the NFL regular season Thursday ahead of Super Bowl LIX , including NFL MVP .

Five finalists remain in the quest for the league's best player − Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson , Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills , Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles , Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions .

The NFL MVP finalists were released Jan. 23, 2025.

The NFL MVP will be revealed during the NFL Honors ceremony at the Saenger Theater . The winner will be announced ahead of Super Bowl 59 , which will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won the 2024 Pro Football Writers of America NFL MVP award, tying him with Tom Brady for second-most PFWA NFL MVP wins with 3. Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers have each won the award four times.

At 27 years old, Lamar Jackson became the second-youngest player to win multiple MVPs. He led the Ravens to the best record in the NFL, 13-4, beating 10 teams with records at .500 or better. Jackson passed for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns in addition to rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns.
