Who will take home the Oscar in some of the biggest categories on Hollywood’s biggest night? And who will be left in the cold?

Hollywood’s biggest night will be here on Sunday, March 4, and being the 90th Academy Awards ceremony, it will surely be a memorable one -- filled with talked-about moments, fashion, and acceptance speeches. Who will take home some of the biggest Oscar awards, and who will leave empty-handed?

Best Picture:

Call Me by Your Name Darkest Hour Dunkirk Get Out Lady Bird Phantom Thread The Post The Shape of Water Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri And the Oscar goes to ... Three Billboards (or The Shape of Water). This one is probably the trickiest one to pinpoint. Three Billboards has gotten a lot of recognition during this award season, but The Shape of Water, overall, was a better picture and is getting support in other categories. Tough one.

Best Lead Actor:

Timothée Chalamet, Call Me by Your Name Daniel Day-Lewis, Phantom Thread Daniel Kaluuya, Get Out Gary Oldman, Darkest Hour Denzel Washington, Roman J. Israel, Esq. And the Oscar goes to ... Gary Oldman. He turned himself into Winston Churchill. Roles like this are award show bait.

Best Lead Actress:

Sally Hawkins, The Shape of Water Frances McDormand, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Margot Robbie, I, Tonya Saoirse Ronan, Lady Bird Meryl Streep, The Post And the Oscar goes to … Frances McDormand. She was one of the best elements of Three Billboards, so it is bound to be hers. But McDormand did encourage voters to go for the younger set, so will Ronan take this for Lady Bird?

Best Supporting Actor:

Willem Dafoe, The Florida Project Woody Harrelson, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Richard Jenkins, The Shape of Water Christopher Plummer, All the Money in the World Sam Rockwell, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri And the Oscar goes to … Sam Rockwell. I don’t really think he deserves this, considering how amazing Dafoe was in The Florida Project, but Rockwell has been receiving acclaim all season for his turn as a racist cop in Three Billboards.

Best Supporting Actress:

Mary J. Blige, Mudbound Allison Janney, I, Tonya Lesley Manville, Phantom Thread Laurie Metcalf, Lady Bird Octavia Spencer, The Shape of Water And the Oscar goes to ... Allison Janney. Her role in I, Tonya was picture-perfect -- the mom no one would dare to want.

Best Director:

Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan Get Out, Jordan Peele Lady Bird, Greta Gerwig Phantom Thread, Paul Thomas Anderson The Shape of Water, Guillermo del Toro And the Oscar goes to ... Guillermo del Toro. The Shape of Water was a cinematic masterpiece; this award belongs to del Toro. If not, newcomers Gerwig and Peele have a good shot.

Best Adapted Screenplay:

Call Me by Your Name, James Ivory The Disaster Artist, Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber Logan, Scott Frank, James Mangold, and Michael Green Molly’s Game, Aaron Sorkin Mudbound, Virgil Williams and Dee Rees And the Oscar goes to ... Call Me by Your Name. The screenplay for Call Me by Your Name is so beautifully done, it deserves all the recognition in the world.

Best Original Screenplay:

The Big Sick, Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani Get Out, Jordan Peele Lady Bird, Greta Gerwig The Shape of Water, Guillermo del Toro and Vanessa Taylor Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Martin McDonagh And the Oscar goes to ... Get Out. If Get Out is getting an award, it's this one. Its toughest competition is probably Three Billboards.
