Thirteen protesters, including six VCU students were initially arrested. Last month, the final defendant had their case adjudicated and all charges against all defendants have been dismissed. Commonwealth’s Attorney Colette McEachin said all defendants were required to complete 40 hours of community service and write a “brief memo” about the rights and responsibilities covered under the First Amendment.
