WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Wichita Falls’ latest information from the National Water Prediction Service indicates the Wichita River - currently flowing at a depth of 15.52 feet - should hold steady at its current level into Thursday. NWPS indicates that the level will rise slightly then due to to runoff from yet another round of soaking rain.

The river is not expected to reach flood stage. The city also encouraged any residents who have been affected or had property damaged by the storm to report the damage to the Texas Division of Emergency Management.
