When does spring arrive?

Florida has seen an unusual winter.

Who can forget the record snowfall in the Panhandle and an Arctic blast that sent temperatures in the Sunshine State below those in Alaska.

So you're excused if you've been asking when spring and summer will get here.

Here's what we can look forward to.

When will spring 2025 arrive?

Not to get complicated, but the answer to that question depends on which spring you mean. There are two: meteorological and astronomical.

Astronomical is based on the position of the sun in relation to the Earth.

Meteorological is based on annual temperature cycles, according to the National Centers for Environmental Information. It's what most people think of when they talk about seasons.
