New website lets you take in a new view, all from the comfort of your couch.
Window Swap is a virtual travel platform that allows users to experience the view from other people’s windows around the world.
Though it seems, at first, a bit invasive, everything shared on the platform is voluntary. Users upload video from outside their window and share it on the platform.

Window Swap was started by a husband-and-wife creative team from Singapore. Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam wanted to do something to break out of their lockdown funk, so they got to work and came up with the idea for sharing window views with other people who might be experiencing the same quarantine cabin fever.
"Let's face it. We are all stuck indoors.
And it's going to be a while till we travel again.Window Swap is here to fill that deep void in our wanderlust hearts by allowing us to look through someone else's window, somewhere in the world, for a while.
A place on the internet where all we travel hungry fools share our 'window views' to help each other feel a little bit better till we can (responsibly) explore our beautiful planet again."
Ranjit spoke with Campaign Asia Pacific, saying, "Because, let's face it, it's going to be a while before we travel again and wake up to a new view outside our windows. So, until then, why not voyeuristically travel by looking out of somebody else's window for a while?"
Site visitors can spend 10 minutes gazing out the window of someone from Hawaii, see the Swiss Alps, spend a peaceful few moments in a Singapore garden, watch a cat frolic in Minnesota, gaze upon the streets of London, or enjoy a glimpse from the south of France.

People are loving this platform! It's a very innovative way to get to see all sorts of different parts of the world, without leaving home.
What a wonderful service: WindowSwap opens up a new window somewhere in the world. And poignant for me to open up a window in Bavaria – my parents who I've not seen for 6 months are just beyond those mountains... https://t.co/7mhlep516K pic.twitter.com/KmuMsouh7F
