FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — One woman was identified after a fatal crash on Interstate 95 just outside of Florence, the Florence County Coroner’s Office said.

Grace Wellman, 79, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, died on Tuesday. She was the passenger in an involved vehicle. Two others were also injured as a result of the crash.

It happened just before 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday at mile marker 164, about three miles outside of Florence. A motor home was hit by a Ford Explorer that were both traveling southbound, Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said.

Authorities said earlier in the day a vehicle fire was blocking all lanes of traffic near where the wreck happened.
