PLAINVILLE, Conn. (WFSB) - A woman was struck by a car in Plainville Sunday morning.

Plainville police say the crash happened around 10 a.m. on New Britain Avenue at the intersection of Hooker Street.

The woman was provided medical attention before being transported to Hartford Hospital by Life Star.

Her condition is unknown.

Police did not say if the driver of the car that struck the woman stayed on scene.

“The Plainville Police Traffic Division along with the Connecticut State Police is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident,” Plainville police said.
