ALEXANDRIA — The Alexandria wrestling team recapped the 2024-25 season.

Nolan Fettig (127) and Landon Day (172) qualified for the MSHSL Class 2A State Championships to lead the Cardinals this season.

Fettig was named to the All-Central Lakes Conference team for earning six or more wins in conference duals.

Mason Evjen (139) and Luke Maanum (215) were all-conference honorable mentions for earning five wins in conference duals.

MSHSL Academic Gold Awards (4.0- 3.6) (9-12 Grade) – Isaac Seward, Nolan Fettig, Connor Zirbes, Zach Brezina, Connor Hawkins, Zack Richards, Jacob Loween, Grant Juelke.

MSHSL Academic Silver Awards (3.0-3.5) (9-12 Grade) – Riley Gulbranson, Ramiro Villanueva, Reed Mellgren, Landon Day, Kayden Christianson, Carter Praska.

MWCA Academic Gold Team – (3.73 top 10 average)
Gold= 3.50- 4.0; Silver=3.0- 3.49
