Stalkers and firefly graves. So begins the new trailer for the second season of The Last of Us , which also introduces us to Jacksonville and Joel and Ellie’s new life after the tragic end of their journey. With shots similar to those of the video game (like the first kiss party) and scenes that will touch the heart of anyone who has played it (like the guitar), everything points to an even more emotional season , if possible... and even more bloody and spectacular. The trailer does not take long to break the silence and shows us a real war between Jacksonville and the infected (never before seen in the game) and the first images of the Wolves and the Seraphites, the new and terrifying factions that will stalk the protagonists. All of this introduces key faces of this adventure such as Dina, Jesse, Abby, Isaac and Nora. The second season of The Last of Us is coming to Max on April 13, 2025 , and according to Pedro Pascal, we better buckle up. “There’s a lot of layers to friendship… Five years later, they are in a different place and I think this is a very relatable fissure in relationships between parent and child. And I don’t know, it’s fucking heartbreaking , you guys [the Showrunners] are very sick people." Follow MeriStation USA on X (formerly known as Twitter).
