Known for its high peaks and elevated levels of fun, you know you're a Colorado native if the altitude doesn’t phase you in the slightest. Whether you're hanging out in Denver or scaling the highest peaks, it really makes no difference.

You also often ask, “small hike or big hike?” Because, hey—a "small hike" is simply a lunch break activity, while a "big hike" may involve a tent and other gear. Either way, you usually have sneakers and an extra water bottle in your backpack or car, just in case.
