Adopt your spirit animal at participating shelters tomorrow, Aug. 18!

If you're looking for a canine companion, a feline friend, a bunny bestie, and more, Saturday is your lucky day!

The Denver Dumb Friends League, as well as several other shelters across the state, will be waiving or reducing adoption fees on all pets (perhaps a guinea pig pal?) for the Clear the Shelters event.

This nationwide pet adoption drive is an initiative by NBCUniversal and Telemundo-owned television stations. It is purely dedicated to helping animals find loving, forever homes. More than 150,000 pets have been adopted since the program started in 2015!

Come out on Saturday, Aug. 18, and meet all the animals available for adoption. Locals can visit the Dumb Friends League at the 2080 S. Quebec St. location or the Buddy Center, 4556 Castleton Court, Castle Rock location starting at 10 a.m. to find your “furever” friend.

You can also take a pause for paws and visit these other participating locations across the state (via CleartheShelters.com):
