Maze will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary!

Denver Botanic Garden's Chatfield Farm is bringing back its popular fall favorite: the corn maze!

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting September 18, you can get lost in acres of a-maze-ing fun, as well as a smaller activity for little ones. Starting in October, you can find the perfect pumpkin in the 10-acre pumpkin patch, purchase it, and take it home for Halloween fun. It appears that the annual Pumpkin Festival usually hosted in mid-October at Chatfield Farms will not be held this year.

But there is still plenty of fun to be had!

"It's the Corn Maze's 20th Anniversary! Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the corn mini-maze," said the botanic gardens.

As you are winding and turning and getting more and more lost, it's hard to see the design of the maze. But, believe it or not, there has been a unique look for each year's maze, and you can see what each one has been for the last 20 years below!

This year's maze will be open at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. in September. It will close at 6:30 p.m. in October. Last entry is an hour before closing.

Please note that you must purchase tickets online ahead of the event. They will only able to enter the farm for the specific time and date that they booked. Tickets won't be available onsite.

Of course, we are still in the time of COVID-19, so there are a few other requirements that visitors will have to adhere to:

  • Only one trip allowed through the maze.
  • Please practice social distancing – staying at least 6 feet away from visitors not in your party.
  • Municipal requirements for masks will be enforced: Visitors will not be allowed entry without adequate masks covering their mouth and nose, which must be worn at all times by adults and children 3 and over, except while eating or drinking.
  • Halloween masks and costumes are not permitted on the premises.

Adults tickets are $12 ($10 for members and seniors). Child's tickets for ages 3-12 are $8 ($6 for members). Children 2 and younger can enter for free. In addition, student and military pricing is available. You can get tickets and more information on the Denver Botanic Gardens website
