Grab your coat and celebrate all things holiday at Union Station's first-ever outdoor light show.
The beautiful and historic Denver Union Station will become a canvas on which the first-ever light show will appear. Each evening beginning November 28, the light show will include riveting animations, historic Denver photos, and unique artistic creations by local residents.
Winter WonderLights runs daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., starting November 28.
More than 100 years ago, Denver Union Station was built at 17th and Wynkoop. As the seemingly empty building had much more to give, the Union Station building underwent a massive renovation. The three-year project cost $500 million.
Today, Denver Union Station serves as a central transportation hub for Amtrak, RTD Bus and Light Rail, Free RTD MetroRide, and Free RTD MallRide. There are restaurants and stores nestled in this iconic and historic building.
Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, tours of Union Station will be offered by the prestigious Crawford Hotel, nestled inside Union Station. Each guided tour covers the rich history of Union Station, its renovation, and the transportation hub in the center of downtown Denver.
As per the State of Colorado’s mandate, face coverings are required to enter Denver Union Station and while in all public areas. Additionally, Denver Union Station is adhering to all City of Denver and State of Colorado COVID-19 guidelines including social distancing, mask requirements, and more.
