George Mason University will host the first annual Fairfax, Virginia Comicon in Dewberry Hall of the Johnston Center on June 9-10.

Organizers of the Virginia Comicon are bringing comics, celebrities, cosplay and more to the city of Fairfax for the first annual Fairfax, Virginia Comicon on June 9-10 in Dewberry Hall at George Mason University. This year’s featured guest will be the creator of the popular comic Deadpool, Rob Liefeld. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="7233,7234"] Comic fans and cosplayers can expect a fun-filled event as vendor space has already sold out. Pre-sale tickets are available now -- Saturday tickets are $15; Sunday tickets are $10; and two-day passes are $20. Children under the age of 13 who are accompanied by a paid adult are granted FREE entry both days. VIP packages ($150) includes two signed Deadpool comics, a signed Deadpool print, an opportunity to have Rob Liefeld sign any item, a photo with Liefeld with up to two people, and a fast-pass that grants early access and front of the line privileges at Rob’s signing booth.

Guests will be able to purchase comics, both new and vintage, at discount prices all under one roof.
