Here are 25 movies we're itching to see in 2018!

So 2017 was quite a year for movies releases, and it looks like 2018 is going to be just as impressive! Here are 25 movies that we're most excited for this year -- with trailers! (You're welcome.)

Black Panther

Release Date: February 16 Chadwick Boseman's introduction into the MCU as T'Challa in Captain America: Civil War was, in a word, epic! Boseman makes his grand return as the King of Wakanda, along with the equally talented cast, including Lupita Nyogn'o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Sterling K. Brown, Michael B. Annihilation

A Wrinkle in Time

Release Date: March 9 After her father's disappearance, a young girl, her little brother, and her classmate must journey to a new planet in search of him. While there they discover three mysterious beings who guide them on their adventure through time and space. The movie is based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle. Tomb Raider

Release Date: March 16 This doesn't mark the first time we've seen heroine Lara Croft on the big screen (who could ever forget Angelina Jolie as the titular character?), but that doesn't make it any less exciting. Alicia Vikander gives audiences a look at Lara Croft before she became the dual-pistol-wielding hero we all know. Pacific Rim: Uprising

Release Date: March 23 John Boyega is stepping away briefly from the Star Wars universe and into another science-fiction movie. Ready Player One

Release Date: March 30 Stephen Spielberg brings Ernest Cline's best-selling novel to life in this 2018 adaptation. Set in the year 2045, the world has drastically changed and is on the brink of ending. A Quiet Place

Release Date: April 6 Nothing is more terrifying than silence. And in this supernatural thriller, it's the only thing that's keeping this family alive. They communicate in sign language and avoid doing anything that could result in a loud noise. Avengers: Infinity War

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Release Date: May 25 After the massive disappointment that was The Last Jedi (read our review), many of us are trying to keep our hopes up that this Han Solo spin-off won't crash and burn. While Disney is already predicting its inevitable failure, we still consider it a contender on the most-anticipated movies list due to the fact that we're wondering just how bad it will be. Deadpool 2

Ocean's 8

Release Date: June 8 Considered both a spin-off and a sequel to the Ocean's trilogy, Ocean's 8 focuses on Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock), sister of Danny from the original films, as she puts together a team of seven female thieves to pull off a huge heist at the Met Gala. Bullock is accompanied by an all-star female cast that includes Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, and Awkwafina. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Robin Hood

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Release Date: November 2 Tchaikovsky's famous 1892 ballet is being transformed into a live-action movie spearheaded by Disney. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Bumblebee: The Movie

Release Date: December 21 Before Bumblebee was driving around with Shia LaBeouf in Michael Bay's Transformers series, he was a broken-down Volkswagen Bug. Aquaman

Release Date: December 21 We were introduced to Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in DC's mega-flop The Justice League, and now the underwater hero is branching out on his own in his first solo film. Fans are hopeful that Aquaman will be able to redeem the DCEU's failing track record (with the exception of Wonder Woman -- the only good thing to come out of the DCEU). Mary Poppins Returns

Release Date: December 25 Emily Blunt is stepping into the title role of Mary Poppins in the reboot/sequel to the 1964 classic starring the impeccable Julie Andrews. Andrews left some big shoes to fill, but if anyone can do it, it's Emily Blunt. Mary Poppins Returns tells the story of the Banks children, now grown and with children of their own, as the nanny uses her unique set of skills to help the family find happiness again.
