Say goodbye to winter with a snow tubing session!
Head out west for some quality time outdoors. They're still hosting daytime and evening tubing on the mountain at Massanutten, so book your spots today.
This family-friendly cold weather activity is great for people of all age groups and you don't need any special equipment. Reservations are currently available through March 14, but tubing may be extended if weather permits.

Pre-purchased tickets are required for snow tubing this season, and space is limited to ensure proper social distancing. A 90-minute session, including tube rental, will run you $32 per person. You must be at least 36 inches tall to ride, so get out those tape measures!
When you're all done, head to the ski lodge for cocktails (or mocktails) by the fire and a nice meal. You don't need reservations to visit the Encounters Lounge, but they are highly encouraged.
Located just outside of Harrisonburg, Massanutten is a few hours away from D.C. and Northern Virginia. If you want to make a getaway of it, the resort has plenty of lodging and dining options for day trips and overnight stays.
