They're making snow up on the mountain!

Even though we haven't had a single snowfall down below, you can still find some winter fun at the Massanutten Resort. Say goodbye to 2021 with some outdoor family time. Located at 1822 Resort Drive in Massanutten, Virginia, the resort is an easy drive from most points in Virginia and D.C.

Skiing is one of the main attractions on the mountain, with 14 runs serviced by 7 different lifts. Purchase time on the slopes in 4- or 8-hour blocks by clicking here to reserve your lift tickets. Prices range from $41 to $86 per person depending on age range and time of day. Love night skiing? That's available for the 2021-2022 season as well!

Snow tubing is booked in 90-minute sessions, with unlimited rides down the mountain for your designated timeslot. The prices for 2021 are $35 per person on weekends (Friday through Sunday) and $28 per person during the week. Click here to purchase your tubing tickets online. Be sure to wear layers, including waterproof pants if you have them. The last thing you want to do is ride home in sopping wet jeans!

If you sliding down the slope isn't quite your thing, then head to the ice rink for some skating. 1-hour sessions are just $10 per person, $5 for children aged 5 and under. Bring your own ice skates or rent a pair for free with your rink admission.

Once you're done outside, explore the rest of the resort for even more activities like the indoor waterpark or relaxing at the spa.
