Do you remember when you were a kid and you would wake up to watch cartoons on Saturday morning? There was nothing better than getting comfortable on the couch with your favorite bowl of cereal and turning on your toons. Well now you can recreate a bit of your childhood at the Spoons, Toons, & Booze event at Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse.

Spoons, Toons, & Booze is happening in Arlington in mid-April. Here’s all the information you’ll need. DETAILS: Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse will play all your favorite throwback cartoons all day long on both Saturday and Sunday, April 14–15. There will be a ton of variety, with cartoons from the 1940s all the way to the early 2000s being played. You’ll also have an opportunity to request a specific cartoon, so if cartoons are your thing, you’ll definitely be satisfied with the selection. Everything will be projected on to a big screen for maximum viewing! But the event isn’t just about watching cartoons. It’s about recreating the entire childhood experience, with some adult features as well. The venue will have an all-you-can-eat cereal bar included as part of the admission price. If alcohol is more your thing, they’ll also have specialty cocktails available for purchase. Cocktails will range from brunch favorites, to cartoon-themed, to cereal shots (which really blends the childhood and adulthood). Everything will be hosted by SecretFormula’s Michael Austin and Nell Casey, who will be bring both comedy and fun tidbits. You can find out more information about the event here.
