Calling all gearheads! The 2024 Washington, DC Auto Show is almost here, and it's bringing all the latest and greatest in the automotive industry. From the various experiences, vendors, and everything else in between, consider us your unofficial guides for this year's Washington, DC Auto Show!

So, rev those engines! Here's everything you need to know leading up to the annual car show:

When Is the Washington, DC Auto Show This Year?

The 10-day exhibition and car showcase will take over the Walter E Washington Convention Center from January 19–28, 2024. The showtimes are as follows:

  • January 19: 12–9 p.m.
  • January 20: 10 am–9 p.m.
  • January 21: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • January 22–25: 12 –8 p.m.
  • January 26: 12–9 p.m.
  • January 27: 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • January 28:  10 a.m.–6 p.m.

How Do I Purchase Tickets?

Tickets are available online, and prices range from $7 to $20, depending on your age:

  • Child (ages 6–12): $7
  • Weekday Adult (ages 13+): $15
  • Weekend Adult (ages 13+): $20

In addition to the general admission tickets, there is also the opportunity to purchase the VIP Experience. However, at the time of this writing, the price points for the VIP Experience were not listed.

There are also special prices and discounts for military members, students, and seniors. Those prices are broken down below:

  • Military Tribute Day (January 23): free with Military ID or DD214
  • Student Day (January 26): $7 off with student ID
  • Multi-Day Discounts:
    •  Seniors (ages 65+): $4 off any weekdays, $2 off weekends
    •  Students (January 19 and 22–26): $4 off any weekday with student ID

 

What Kind of Experiences and Vendors Can I See When Attending?

Several new experiences are coming to the Washington, DC Auto Show in 2024, including the DC eDrives Experience and the Nissan EV Track. There are also some fan favorites returning, like the opportunity to see the best automakers up close and the Classic Car Club, where vintage models are put on display.
