The program runs from June 10 to August 10! Set down the TV remote and crack open your favorite book!

Take a break from the video games and TV and let the pages of a book transport you to a whole new world!

Seriously, though: the Virginia Beach Public Libraries are holding their annual Summer Reading Program, June 10-August 10, which challenges you to read anything – even a comic book!

Don't worry; every library in Virginia Beach has the program, so it's not just limited to one area of the city – anyone can participate!

We haven't even told you the best part – you have a chance to win prizes! You get to take a new adventure and you get to win a prize – that's a win-win in our book (pun intended)!

How It Works:

The steps are easy. Create an account with Beanstack, here! Then go to the library and stick up on your fave reading materials. As you read, log all of the books, magazines, etc., and time spent reading on your account! Once you reach a certain goal, Beanstack will prompt you for the prize you have earned – easy-peasy, amirite?

The best part? You don't have to be a member of the Virginia Beach Public Library in order to be a participant, so anyone can join along in the challenge!

It's okay to admit that you are dancing around like this corgi:
