If you're like me, you're always on the lookout for fun places to take your kids in the summertime. Here are three that you may not have been to!
Municipal Giant Slide 13544 Motters Station Rd Rocky Ridge, MD[gallery size="medium" ids="2036,2035,2037"] There are multiple great things about this fun roadside attraction. First, the 40-foot-tall sliding board features five humps and dips, making it a mild but still-thrilling ride for kids of all ages! Second, its stairs to the top (which will, no doubt, require multiple trips up!) are sure to serve as great exercise, wearing your little people out just in time for a long, needed nap! Third? It's completely FREE. Check out the unofficial Facebook page for more info! Photos courtesy of Ed South's Wonderful World of Blog.
Frontier Town 8428 Stephen Decatur Hwy Berlin, MD 21811[gallery columns="2" size="medium" ids="2038,2040"] With camping, a western theme park, a water park, mini golf, and a ropes course, this place has enough activities to keep kids busy for days! They'll love it! Plus, there's panning for gold, entertaining stage shows (shoot-outs in the middle of the town!), opportunities for fishing and jet skiing, and much, much more. Book your campsite or cabin on Frontier Town's website.
Lost Galaxy Golf 3305 Coastal Hwy Ocean City, MD[gallery columns="2" size="medium" ids="2041,2042"] If your kids are into outer space, they'll really appreciate Lost Galaxy Golf's space-themed 18-hole mini golf course. Golfers are thrust into an "intergalactic adventure," complete with caves, crashing meteors, spaceships, and aliens, amidst tons of special effects. Plus, the facility also has laser tag and other great activities. Learn more on their website!
