Postponed due to rain, the Adams Morgan Apple Festival will now take place this coming Saturday, November 3.

Tis the season for apples! And there's good news: Despite being canceled this past weekend due to pain, the Adams Morgan Apple Festival is a go for this Saturday, November 3, at 10:30 a.m. Admission is free.

From variations of fresh apples (thanks to multiple local and regional orchards present) to the baked variety (apple pies and the pie-eating contest are actually a pivotal part of the festival), the apple festival has you covered. We recommend not eating anything before you go so you can stuff yourself with as many pies as possible!

No fall-themed festival would be complete without fall-themed drinks, like pumpkin lattes and apple cider. There will also be live music, a small pumpkin patch, and a few food vendors just in case you get tired of eating only apples.

The best part is that all the proceeds from the festival go to charity and organizations that support the local community.

It'll be the perfect day to wear some plaid, wrap a scarf around yourself, and enjoy fall to the fullest. Get all the details on their Facebook page
