Here's our list of best places to enjoy some great queso in Northern Virginia.

It's a mix of cheeses, peppers or other fine ingredients all melted and served warm in a dish. In case you didn't know, we're talking about queso! We've scourged the Northern Virginia area and found the best places that serve great queso -- the delicious dip we all know and love. (You're welcome!)

Anita's New Mexico Style Mexican Food

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3498,3499"] Located in Springfield, Virginia, Anita's New Mexico Style Mexican Food, which has "served Virginia for over 40 years," can be a good location for enjoying some great-tasting queso (with red chile sauce) and tasty tortilla chips. While the New Mexico enchiladas “casserole style,” or the burritos, taquitos, or flautas may be your main course here, we definitely suggest the queso to go along with anything you order.

Tequila Grande

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3502,3503"] Located in Vienna, Virginia, Tequila Grande has some delicious queso that comes with a serving of crispy, delicious chips.  Plus, you can enjoy other main dishes and a cocktail (like the Pomegranate Habanero Ginger Margarita) outside on their patio with friends or family. But we wouldn't mind devouring the whole delicious dish of queso with chips in complete solitude, either.

Qdoba

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3471,3474"] Their delicious and spicy "Queso Diablo" is back for a limited time! QDoba's Queso of The Month is a tasty, yet novel approach for those foodies who may be connoisseurs of all things queso. The good news is that QDoba locations are not that tough to find in Northern Virginia, if you look hard enough.

Uncle Julio's

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3495,3479"] Uncle Julio's knows what Mexican food is about, with some great-tasting queso to go along with their crispy tortilla chips and guacamole. Also, don't forget to try their chocolate piñata as a dessert option! You won't regret it.

Chevys Fresh Mex

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3493,3494"] For queso connoisseurs, Chevys has a delicious Chili Con Queso, a "warm, creamy cheese dip with poblano peppers, onions, garlic, jalapeños, and pico de gallo."  The good news is that you can also request their queso topped with Picadillo beef. How yummy!

Chuy's Tex-Mex

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="3480,3491"] With locations in Sterling, Fairfax, and Springfield, Chuy's Fine Tex Mex has some delectable queso to enjoy with their tasty chips. Chuy's brings some interesting tastes, from their Elvis Memorial Combo to their creamy jalapeños dip. For cheese lovers, though, it might be worth the visit for the queso alone.
