Taco Bell is giving out free Doritos Locos Tacos on November 1, thanks to a nice base steal in the 2017 MLB World Series.
Whether you're a fan of Major League Baseball or not, Taco Bell is in the giving mood! According to the fast-food chain's "Steal A Base, Steal A Taco" World Series promotion, "[i]f an eligible base is stolen during the Games, Taco Bell will make an announcement through selected media channels, including a press release and its web site (www.tacobell.com/stealabase), that eligible consumers can obtain one Free Doritos® Locos Taco on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 (if the first base is stolen in Games 1 or 2 on October 24 or 25) OR Tuesday, November 7, 2017 (if the first base is stolen in Games 3-7, on October 27, 28, 29, or 31, or November 1) ('Redemption Date') only."
And here's the good news: In Game 2 of the Houston Astros/L.A. Dodgers World Series, Cameron Maybin of the Astros helped the free Doritos® Locos Tacos cause in a very big way.
The restaurant had this to say about it on their website:
In Game 2, Cameron Maybin came through in the crunch with the stolen base heard 'round the world. And at Taco Bell, we believe one great steal deserves another."[caption id="attachment_4158" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Courtesy of Facebook.[/caption] As a result, those hungry for Doritos Locos Tacos can score a free one on November 1, between the hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at any participating Taco Bell® restaurant in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. However, this promotion is just a one time event. But one free Doritos Locos is better than no Doritos Locos, in our opinion!
