The Worcester County Education Foundation is throwing a fundraiser with a Mardi Gras theme!

No one can deny that education is rather expensive -- for parents, students, and teachers, too. But foundations like the Worcester County Education Foundation try to make education more affordable.  In November, they're throwing an event called the Mardi Gras Prohibition Party, with all money raised going toward the foundation and their efforts to support students and schools in the county. Talk about a win-win -- you'll get to have a blast while helping out the community!

WHEN: Friday, November 2 | 7-10 p.m.
WHERE: Seacrets (Ocean City, MD)
COST: $35 (General Admission)
CONTACT: Click here or call 443-880-7795

The event features a Prohibition theme, so you'll stroll into a transformed Seacrets and feel like you've been blasted back in time! You'll have the chance to put together your best '30s, '40s, or '50s attire and potentially have the chance to win an award for best costume at the end of the night. Also, you can enjoy hors-d'oeuvres from various restaurants around the area, a silent auction, and a drink courtesy of the happy hour bar. And all this fun will be accompanied by New Orleans jazz, R&B, blues, and swing music throughout the night! You'll definitely feel like you've left 2018 behind once the party gets started!
