Want to channel your love for fashion into a good cause?

Well, now is your opportunity to do just that by attending the Runway for a Cure, D.C., event.

Here are all the details you need to know before you go.

The Runway for a Cure event will take place on Saturday, August 25, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park, located at 2660 Woodley Road NW, Washington, D.C., 20008. Doors will start to open at 2:30 p.m, so make sure you arrive early to grab your seat.

Your ticket to this event will support the missions of Breast Care for Washington, D.C., and For 3 Sisters, in their efforts to ...

“celebrate the lives of Breast Cancer survivors, encourage family and friends of those affected by Breast Cancer, and to give back to individuals or organizations who support breast cancer research, awareness, and survivors.”

Tickets range from $40 to $55, depending on whether you get regular or general admission, and you may also add an extra donation with the amount of your choice. You can purchase them here. There is parking available at the hotel, and it will cost you $22.

The runway show itself will consist of upcoming local Washington, D.C., designers showcasing their latest pieces, and some of the models in the show will be breast cancer survivors themselves.

Small snacks and drinks will be available during the runway presentation, as all as swag bags filled with goodies for the VIP ticket holders.

There will also be an opportunity to buy tickets to the much-anticipated after-party -- 16th Annual Pink and White Affair -- that starts at 8 p.m. that same night.

To find out more details regarding the event, the after-party, and how you can get a package deal for both, visit the Eventbrite site, here
