How often do you actually think about street names? And how often do street names make you pause and look back for a second glance to make sure you read it correctly? Well ... we're about to take you on a journey through our 10 favorite street names in Virginia. We can all admit we're in need of a good laugh these days, so have at it at these streets found throughout Old Dominion:
1. Cadbury Row

If your mind didn't immediately wander to the mouthwatering Cadbury chocolates when you read this street name in Alexandria, then sorry, we can't help you. Imagine living on a quaint street like this with such a scrumptious name! I'd be craving chocolate every time I rounded the corner toward home.
2. Blackbeard Road

Maybe you've heard of the legend of the pirate Blackbeard—or seen the character of the same name from Pirates of the Caribbean. While this street in Virginia Beach has NOTHING to do with pirates, we can't help but wonder if there's darkness lying just beyond that bend. These houses do sit along a lake, after all ...
3. Yellow Brick Road

4. Butts Station Rd.

There's nothing out of the ordinary about this road in Chesapeake, but your little ones (or you) might get a chuckle out of it anyway.
5. The Corner of Shady and Creepers

We're not saying you should avoid these crossroads ... but, we're not saying you shouldn't avoid them either. This intersection certainly makes us feel like we're in a thriller! But if you're feeling bold, you can find these streets in Damascus!
6. Frying Pan Road
